Papers you earn in the water - not on a weekend souvenir stamp

Certification is a skill stack. We run theory, confined sessions, and Red Sea checkouts with the same brief discipline as our trip desk.

Method

Theory near the Delta. Salt when skills are clean.

Knowledge development can start at the Saeed Street desk or through modules we assign. Confined water happens in partner pools where an instructor can still see your mask skirt. Open-water checkouts move to the coast when skills are clean - not when the calendar is merely convenient.

Bring the medical questionnaire early. If a physician sign-off is required, we wait. Inventing workarounds is how course weeks become liability stories.

The ladder

OW

Open Water Diver

Mask skills that stick, buoyancy that is not luck, and four open-water dives with a ratio that lets the instructor see you - not a crowd silhouette. Confined water is where bad habits are caught early.

Advanced Open Water

Deep, navigation, and electives chosen for Egyptian conditions. Night and peak performance buoyancy show up often because Red Sea walls reward them - and punish sloppy trim.

Rescue Diver

Problem recognition before heroics. Surface tows, stress management, and scenarios that feel inconvenient on purpose. Rescue is the course that changes how you watch a buddy.

For divers who want to work the line. Mentoring hours, mapping drills, professionalism that survives hot quay afternoons, and standards you can recite without looking at a phone.

How a Kass A course week feels

Enrol

We confirm prerequisites, medical status, and whether rental kit needs to be reserved from day one.

Knowledge

Modules and desk sessions. Questions are encouraged; guessing on gas management is not.

Confined

Pool reps until skills are boring in the best way. Boring skills survive saltwater nerves.

Checkout

Red Sea open water with briefed profiles. Cards follow competence - not the hotel checkout time.

Standards we keep visible

  • Student-to-instructor ratios that allow real observation
  • No alcohol on training days we run
  • Skills repeated until consistent, not until - -good enough for Instagram -
  • Coast checkouts only after confined water is clean
